The transdisciplinary course series ‘Experiencing Japan’ is organised in cooperation with the Department of Architecture and Environmental Systems at Shibaura Institute of Technology (Tokyo). Through joint discussions and research, spatial planning issues are reflected upon and interpreted from both Japanese and Austrian perspectives. Based on this interdisciplinary and theoretical discourse, strategies and recommendations for future spatial development and policies were developed in form of a reader.
